I disagree that the show lags when Sorkin left. The writers certainly did not have the same language skills that Sorkin had, but I enjoy the last season just as much as the early seasons.
I was disappointed we didn't get to see a season with more Santos and Vinnick.

IMO Sorkin's writing and dialogue were so good that anything after that was gonna be something of a letdown. Still watch and love seasons 5-7, but just guess we'll have to disagree about the show lagging post-Sorkin.
