But I absolutely love this move and the nostalgia it brings.
Of course the music is great. One of its main characters Matt Dillion was in a band that included members from Pearl Jam. Bar scenes include a performance from Alice In Chains. Chris Cornel makes an appearance.
Besides the Soundtrack being amazing. Songs used in the movie, but not included on either edition of the soundtrack, are: "Three Days" by Jane's Addiction, "Little Girl" by Muddy Waters, "Dig for Fire" by the Pixies, "Radio Song" by R.E.M., "Blue Train" by John Coltrane, "Family Affair" by Sly & The Family Stone, "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult
It’s funny and quirky with some great actors. Matt Dillon Bridget Fonda Kyra Sedgwick Campbell Scott
(Bill Pullman Eric Stoltz Jeremy Piven
Paul Giammati - made small appearances)
As far as romantic comedies goes this is top 10 for me
Fun fact- director Cameron Crowe was married to Nancy Wilson of Heart

Don’t hate the movies per Se but they aren’t very good.
