Thanks alot man. I tried to justify this thread over the 40 page one and tried to be informative. The film was everything it should have been and did it excellently. I was a big proponent of recasting Heath Ledger for the Joker, but Nolan knew what he was doing even if I didn't. Just perfect. We will all wonder what it could have been, but as much as it hurts for me to say it, the lack of the Joker served the THEMES well. This film will be very much immortal due to its themes. It is the film of the mentality of the Obama administratio, and if Joker was in it, it would merely be a chaos follow-up, not a social class film. It will be a truly mmortalized film that couldn't have come along at a better time.
