I didn't know how Tropic Thunder was made then. It was a breath of fresh air, even in 2008. I wish it was a little more outrageous, but it worked.
Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker (of Airplane) had quite a few jokes in Kentucky Fried Movie that would get them in hot water today (Rex Kramer Thrill Seeker).

Well...I love movies that are both funny and politically incorrect as do many of the folks on this site. You also can't watch or read any news that doesn't report on some woke person or group finding the next thing to be offended at.

Sandlot's YOU PLAY BALL LIKE A GIRL would not go over well today, especially since the line was said by the protagonists of the movie
If they redid it, I bet it would be redone to where Benny is replaced by a girl who is so much better than the other Sandlot boys at baseball, and the rival team insults them because they have girls on their team and that is what causes them to have their impromptu game.
Then they celebrate afterward by going to a drag queen show instead of the carnival.
