Glad to see some others posting Armageddon. I was sobbing like a little girl a few times in that movie as well.
What's curious to me is that it keeps happening every time I see it.

Technically as an adult, these movies have done it for me:
Toy Story 3... I identified with the main character.
Marley Me... Had to put one of my dogs down a couple years ago, and its still fresh in my mind.
Big Fish... just sad but glorious at the same time.
Haven't seen Seven Pounds or Schindler's LIst yet, but I'm sure they would do it for me too.

I thought of another since my original post, the scene at end of "Cool Runnings" when they carry the bobsled across the finish line. Just something about their determination gets me.

Dear Zachary plays on MSNBC today at 2, made me cry like a baby.

Why is this on cable TV?
It shouldn't even be on TV. I have made all my friends stay away from it. They don't have as strong of hearts as I do, and it hurt me.

I'm not sure how we made it this far without hearing about:
Rudy - when they are showing his parents in the stadium after he gets in the game, and when he gets the sack and the game ends.
Apollo 13 - when the radio silence lasts a lot longer than it should on re-entry and then "Houston, this is odyssey, it's good to hear you"
Castaway - when tom hanks is waiting to see Helen hunt after the rescue and her new husband is helping her to the car. And then again when she says "you are the love of my life"
Now that I am thinking about it, most of Tom hanks movies nowadays get to me.

Pursuit of happyness when he gets the job at the end. You can feel the relief he feels.

The end of Field of Dreams when they are playing catch, my father and I used to do that all the time before he died

I read it, but I'm the kind of person where if you tell me not to push the red button; I'll push it 12 times.

Rudy gets me every time
Saving Private Ryan (of course)
Lonesome Dove (when Gus dies and Call has to tell the men to gather because he only wants to have to tell the story once).

The Sound of Music. I always cry like a baby when Maria and The Captain dance on the veranda and come eye-to-eye. What an all-time great movie...

Its hard for me to get that into a movie to start tearing up, but Marley & Me was fighting me pretty hard. My eyes got a little teary.
I have an ironclad rule that I never watch animal movies. Old Yeller was enough.
