Ran across this movie the other night and I have to say that it is just great.

It brought back memories from when I dated a beautiful girl in High School that was on the weight lifting team. She was also an amazing catcher for the softball team.

Everybody at our school would always crack jokes about her but she showed them all when she squatted more then the guys and hit all the home runs every game. She became the prom queen that year because she was a freak athlete.. and a freak in the bed (hint, hint - if you catch my drift)

It’s transphobic to call (insert pronoun) freaks in 2022

The Helen Hunt original? Or did they remake it with some freak who doesn't know which bathroom to use?

This was so 80's TV. Remember watching it...ABC movie of the week or Afterschool Special (nah, those were usually about teenagers abusing drugs.)

She basically just hands the ball off the entire movie because when she throws...well, she throws like a girl and it's like a 5-yard out with a wobbly ball.

It is based on a true story. It's J.V. football and a tiny town that didn't play anybody.

Played against a girl in H.S. football...she was on the D-line...big Mexican girl...held her own to some degree. But as far as QB? It's sorta like the female FG soccer kickers that could kick an extra point and that was about it.
