Spoiler alert-- the ending of the movie was different from the ending in the story (wasn't a stand-alone book). In my mind having read the story first, the story ending was better.

Only the Brave. Outstanding movie, absolutely deflated in the final 10 minutes.
Prisoners is another, even though I've seen it like 20 times. So well done, but dark and depressing. That last 20 minutes always gets me. Always hoped there would be a victory at the end but everybody was great in their role.

Some great ones listed already. A seemingly oddball one but given context A.I. I was dating a women who had a young son with autism. Her son and Haley Joe Osmet’s character just tore me up.
