I'm aware. My top 5 critics are either in Chicago or within 300 miles of it.

I don't trust any one critic. I do trust a collective of opinions except for super hero movies, horror moviesand science fiction.
If horror or sci fi movie is rated low or a superhero movie high that doesn't tell me anything

Fing shite ton of spoilers in Hollywood reporter review.
I'm fine with spoilers but id bet Nolan is pissed a critic revealed that much plot before the release

The one negative reviewer on Rotten Tomatoes seems to think that Bane is an obscure character that only appeared in early 90's comics. That the movie's target audience is too young to have heard of him.
Well, yeah, other than the dozens of appearances he's made over the past twenty years in comics, movies, TV shows...

I beg to differ that the target audience is too old to have heard of him. Seriously,do people in their thirties and beyond really have a clue who Bane is? I'd venture to say that before this film was marketed, 95% of America had no clue who Bane was. But who gives a shite? No person who kept up with the comics knew who Ra's al Ghul was, and he was a great antagonist. If we went with an antagonist everyone knew, we'd be stuck with the fricking Riddler, which would have blown chunks and merely been Joker Light. All that matters is that he works in the film.
Honestly if Snyder makes a good first Superman film, I'd say he has to create his own original villain for the sequel. There's no exceedingly dark villain in Superman's rouge gallery that is a result of Superman's pressence, which is essential to any second chapter of a franchise. As long as it works on its own terms in a film, who cares if it doesn't have a preestablished history in the comics?

I'm not going to post anything but there was plenty in that review not shown in trailers.

Reminds me of that half-brained bitch/whore/count that gave TDK a negative review because she claimed "too many people hated clowns".
