People hate on that episode but I like it. It seems right out of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
I always wondered if that episode was a warning shot to cast negotiations. First, we can add new characters whenever we want and second we can kill anyone.

I never understood the last season. After the last season was over I wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't. Did the plane really crash in the first place on that island? Did some of them really get off it only to return? I am still confused as hell.
