Is it wrong that the people who annoyed me the most were Tanya and Camille?
No. I hated them.
I understand obviously but while they should have been sympathetic they were extremely unlikeable.

do you need to watch season 1 before season 2??? or do they not tie in to each other?

That Manson interview was spectacularly well done.

Watch Season 1 first. You really have to.

Really don’t see why someone would skip half of the show they want to watch

Loved this season. Took me a minute to realize Manson was the same guy who was Dewey Crowe on Justfied
Tench's wife got on my nerves. For someone who was indirectly responsible for a dead body being found in one the homes she was showing, during her first week on the job no less, she had alot of balls to be pressuring Tench into cutting his work hours. For her sake, she better not have bailed too far away, otherwise she'll be in a shitstorm with social services...

I didn’t know going in that it was him, but in certain moments when he is talking, you can definitely hear Dewey.

Yeah that whole time I was like “uhhh I’m pretty sure that social services and everyone involved would not be cool with you moving towns over night” and that was never a part of the conversation

Didn't even think about this part. She seems to be off her rocker to with saying the boy didn't come from her. That's messed up.

The stuff with Tench’s kid was great and really had an impact on everything Tench did after that. Plus, that kid really had a creepy/evil vibe to him at moments, even though what he did could kind of be seen as innocent in a way.
I would agree if this was a fictional show. But when the show is based on real events it seemed kinda odd to throw in something that extreme when it never happened. First thing I did after the episode where it’s revealed was google it to see if it was real. Like I said earlier, that’s my only real complaint. Fantastic show

While based in reality and with real killers and victims, Holden and Tench are not real people.

+1
Also, the reflection off that lady's giant glasses in Atlanta drove my wife and I nuts.

They’re based on real people. The 2 agents that wrote a book about all this stuff
But even if they weren’t real people, why throw in a fictional murder involving children when all the other cases are based on actual murders?

Yes but purposefully given fictional names and back ground to allow for fictional liberties within their story

A large part of the show talks about how these things start as children. And also a large part of it includes how desensitized these guys are. A little easier to just call them monsters and move on. But when your own child has these signs, it’s extremely interesting how they would handle it and how it would effect their work

Of course liberties will taken, like with Holden and Carr’s relationships. But having one of the two main characters 6 year old son be involved in a murder of a 2 year old?? That’s an extreme fictional liberty. You can have the son exhibit deviant behavior without actually creating a murder. Just him staring at that girl on the swing set was creepy as hell.
