I guess this fits the narrative. Instead of making better movies, they're going with better labels.

They can't sustain this, though, because they can't help themselves and spend $200m to $300m on everything. Not just Marvel, but company wide - they cannot produce, promote and present a film for under $250m to $300m and often get into the $400s all-in, which makes every film under the gun to break a billion.

(ETA: And this is about series branding and they just haven't figured a way to monetize those yet.)
