1. The pacing and editing of the first hour was ATROCIOUS.
2. The second half was FANTASTIC
3. HC was perfect as Superman
If it wasn't for #1, this would be this years best, however, whoever was in charge of the first half of the movie should be fired TODAY.

I guess for people like me that read comics and graphic novels I just dislike another retelling of what the world should know.
I guess my point is that for my movie going experience I like to research the movie before going to see it. Case in point, Star Trek. I never watched any of the old Star Trek TV series or movies. However in 09 when the new one came out I spent about a day reading up on the characters and understanding the universe. That way I was able to catch small easter eggs thrown in from time to time. I'm not big on watching movies I know nothing about unless it is truly an original idea.

Saw MOS last night. It was good, not great, but good. I thought the final battle scene was a bit over the top. However, I didn't see Zod as a truly bad guy. He wanted to bring his civilization back. I personally think humans would do the same thing on another world if that was the easiest way to keep our civilization going. Kinda reminds me of Europeans going to the "new world" , the Native Americans , while still around , didn't do so well . (However, they now have casinos and pay like zero fed tax, so maybe it's a wash)
