As far as looks go, I’ve always liked these, even if they did look too militaristic. Yes Starfleet is a military force, they are much more than that.

Though I’d prefer to wear these in terms of comfort:

I love DS9 but I’ve never been a big fan of the early uniforms like some also wore on Generations ( ) and also on Voyager. The later uniform they had and also wore in First Contact was okay though, but the TNG uniform was superior.

I’ve always hoped clothing will soon evolve into TNG adult onsies. IWWI FTW

These uniforms are definitely better than the ones before it, which just look so cheap.

They should have kept the TNG uniforms

spandex TNG are easily the worst

the later TNG are pretty sweet, though

The only ones that made any damn sense were the Star Trek: Enterprise uniforms. What the hell does StarFleet have against pockets?

100% agree. S1-2 TNG spandex uniforms sucked and were uncomfortable for the actors too.

Enterprise's uniforms made sense because it's closer to our time and their uniforms are more utilitarian, but that goes against Roddenberry's futuristic look.

Yeah. Nothing against Frakes but I'm not a huge fan of Riker. Choosing between Kirk and Picard is hard af for me, but Spock is undeniably a superior character than Riker.

Really hoping Riker has little to no part in the new Picard series. Dude is in no shape to be in that role anymore.

Best Starfleet characters in TNG were Picard, Data, Geordi, and O'Brien. Of course O'Brien was wasted as a character, but they made up for that in DS9. Hoping they make an appearance in the new series in some capacity.

The series that is premiering on CBS All Access this December. It's been talked about a lot. I've started a few threads here about it.

You shut your damn mouth!

Frakes is a legitimately cool dude and has directed a ton of the better TNG episodes amongst other. Believe he’s done some Orville episodes too.

Big fan of Pike's Enterprise uniforms that were introduced this season on Discovery. Nice updated version of the original.

That show is garbage. It would be better if it were episodic as opposed to whatever stupid story arc they’re trying to create. I mean hello dumbasses, we all know the spore network isn’t going to work long term. Burnam turned into a whiny count. Tilly is annoying as frick.

Not exactly thrilled about a Picard series either to be honest. Why not just keep going into the future post Voyager/DS9?

It's going to go on forever, keeping everything that you love from being produced.

Well that's what the new Picard series is doing. Patrick Stewart is coming back and the show will be in the future. It'll be the first actually new story progression since Nemesis.

Okay I’m on board then. Hoping it’s a bit more episodic though. To me that’s what Star Trek should be. Or maybe 3 or 4 episode arcs like Enterprise did in its last season.

That's what I want too. A show with 2-4 episode arcs and also some quality standalone episodes as well.
