I remember watching it when I was pretty small, along with the other "love shows" like Love Boat and Fantasy Island. I think the fact that it was a vignette show with different characters every week is the reason it didn't last quite as long as the others.

Late 70's TV was pretty interesting. I watched most of it in reruns during the 80's and i don't think I appreciated it as much at the time.

It was risqué when it was on in prime time (1969, 10pm EST on Fridays). Back then it was a show you had to sneak to see behind your parents back.

Then in the mid-70's, ABC put it in their afternoon block of re-runs. Love American Style and Match Game... tons of double entendres there.
