I keep having this feeling that the end game is going to be therapy. Like, all the characters on the show went to a hypno-therapist who made them envision themselves on an island where they'd somehow find redemtion for all the things that have gone wrong....and the characters that died had to "kill off" their old selves.

Therapist is either Jacob(with Essau being their collective doubts/fears/demons and Jacob in the "island" being the therapy) or the faith healer

nope

.....and if this somehow happens to be true, I'm going to find you & hurt you

ETA: I'm just know rolling thru season 2 again - it just pisses me off more that we had to suffer thru Michael. Now that we know where we are in the story, it is even more obvious his addition to this cast was a complete and utter waste of space. I hate his character even more the second time around, and the constant "WAAAAAALLLLTTTT" is even more unbearable than before. We could've just as easily gotten here without him.

How so? I'm not sure I understand what the incident is. Is it them either drilling too far at the Swan (or when Juliet set off the nuke)?

I meant the episode, particullarly the park where Jacob and MIB are talking on the beach.

They created an entire episode debunking the theory that this is all in "somebody's head". This is all real. And that ending is extremely terrible.

Just to clarify?

We don't yet know whether the incident was them drilling to far at the Swan or Juliet activating the nuke?

Can't say that I'm suprised, this adds to the concept of fate throughout the show. Seems like at least one of the characters would have made the connection to some the shite they caused being what they were actually talking about in the past.

Can you be more specific? I just watched seasons 2-5 and do not remember this...

Right. Miles pointed out while they were waiting for Jack to drop it in the hole that they did not know if the Incident was them drilling or if what was supposed to be Jack dropping it in the hole. I'm sure this question will be answered...

I think the episode where Hurley is hallucinating and seeing his imaginary friend from the loony bin hospital. Also maybe the same episode where we see Libby in the same hospital.

I don't know if this has ever been mentioned, but I read an observation someone wrote on the internet how in the pilot, when Jack woke up from the crash, he ran straight to the crash without hesitation and without any noise of people screaming; and that while doing so you see white shoes hanging from a tree. It was almost like he had been to the island before and had the natural instinct to exactly where the beach was....it was also mentioned that in a deleted scene, Christian told Walt's dog to "Go wake up Jack, my son has work to do". Thoughts?

This was actually part of the Lost: Missing Pieces web series. You can watch them all here

Maybe, but I wouldn't buy too much into that. I mean, you could easily see it that way, but it sort of just looks like Jack's running with a full head of steam and gets lucky to find the beach.
