I would like to stop hearing rumors about existing characters prequels and hear more about the film that they want base on the Seven Samurai formula.

That rumor was debunked right? Supposedly Zach Snyder was attached to direct? It's been done before anyway. You could probably remake any classic samurai movie into the Star Wars universe.
