Saw it last night. While the editing was weird and it seeemed a bit rushed the overall film was a fun ride. Doesn't look like it will do well at the box office though which is sad because I would like to see another come of these exploring the holy grail.

Any body else see it?

I want to. I love Guy Ritchie's movies. He's a bit of a pompous arse sometimes in interviews, but that's because he doesn't like dealing with the bullshite of press junkets.

Was the armour cool, and the movie entertaining?

Answer a couple of questions for me, if you don't mind.

1. Is Vortigern a sorcerer or just an evil king?
2. Why are Guinevere's eyes glowing in the trailer? Is she magical too?
3. Does Lancelot make an appearance?

Thanks!

This felt like Guy Ritchie made this movie mixed with Zac Snyder, written by a 12 year old on acid.

I'm not gona lie though, I had fun.

It was pretty good for what it was, its not deeply philosophical or anything and it is not like the source material either. What it is however is a high fantasy version of King Arthur which mean lots of magic.

Really I quite enjoyed it.

Bingo!
you seek the Gdddddaaaaaiiiilllll!.

You don't become king just because some watery tart threw a sword at you!!!

To the Excalibur fan,

I fart in your general direction.

This is supposed to be the first of six films. About Camelot which I'm down for.
I'm going to see it this weekend.
Guy Ritchie is always interesting even though he switches POV may not work in this type of movie. And have them all intertwine like the random characters all lock stock etc.

I doubt it'll go beyond this movie. While I would love to see more in the series, the movie is bombijg at the theatre right now. I hope the Chinese market pumps it up otherwise it was a good fun trY.

I want to see it because I like the majority of Ritchie's projects but the more I see of this one the less I want to see it. This one will be a wait and see on tv for me.

Guy Ritchie made the conscious choice to frick Madonna on the regular. Every decision he's made after Snatch is questionable. And this is coming from a fan.

It was a good movie, not great. I didn't like the way they kept changing the way the movie was presented. The characters were fine and the acting was good. I did like the way one brother would do anything for family while the other brother would sacrifice family for power.
