Just got home from Minecraft. Great movie!

My expectations were VERY low because I had no idea how they were going to make something out of that game but it was very entertaining.

My 10yo boy kept hitting my arm and telling me every creature that appeared or what they were going to craft before they actually did it.

I guess it's like me when I would watch a marvel movie and get the subtle comic book references.

Anyway, I put this up there with Super Mario Brothers, just a fun movie with no agenda and that's pretty refreshing.

Loved all the old 80s and 90s toys in the video game shop. At least in that scene I was the one saying stuff like "look! It's a big trax on the shelf behind him!"

If you're not a Minecraft player or don't have kids that are you probably won't get a lot of it but for it's target thermographic they nailed the landing.
