I like Franco a lot but I always let the last movie I saw with him in it influence my decision. And he was terrible in Oz. Though that movie was bad in general

Have never understood the boner this board has for JGL. He's severely overrated.

I don't think either are that exceptional as actors, but if I had to choose I'd go with jgl for a dramatic role and Franco for a comedic one.

Franco by a lot. I think he has a pretty big range, I always kind of see JGL as JGL.

I thought the whole thing was pretty solid. It didn't blow me away but I liked it and Franco was about as good as you could hope for the role.

The only range I saw Franco have was Pineapple Express. He was so wooden in Spiderman and I was pleasantly surprised to see him not act like he was reading off a projector. He wasn't bad in 127 Hours either. Oz would have been so much better if RDJ stayed on.

Franco, JGL just seems so boring in all of his movies.
