A super sophisticated alien society wouldn't have programming language similar to our computers. It would be like hacking a modern computer with a rock. So still a logic problem.

Get off your high horse. I wouldn't say the screen writers were idiots. Perhaps it's more of a case of them hoping the audience would be mostly comprised of idiots that wouldn't use their heads. I'm sure you've got the logic market cornered, but allow me to try. My logic would deduce that EARTH computers would not be compatible with ALIEN technology.
Regardless, I was not fricking talking to you anyway.

Jeff Goldblum's character had already started to understand the alien computer language when he deciphered the countdown sequence earlier in the movie.

You're assuming that 1. They were really that much more sophisticated than us and 2. That we didn't have similar technologies.
There are theories out there much of our modern technology traces its roots to alien technology. I personally don't believe in that, but the theories are out there nonetheless.
And here's the link:
Goldblum makes an alien ship his workshop
Also, that site points out one of the biggest flaws in motion picture history and it just so happens to be in a movie that many "experts" consider to be a top 3-5 film of all time.

The movie, while entertaining, is no where near top 5.

Jeff Goldblum needs to develop an Anti-mad virus for your madness.

If your talking about Terminator 2 that's hardly a problem. If anything T1000 should have gone back and killed Sarah's parents since unlike John they wouldn't know anything about Terminators.

She was probably born in the 50s and all government documents were paper copies and they couldn't pin-point her parents location before she was born.

Crap, I was just watching this earlier on HBO and had an issue or two.
But I guess they rolled their eyes cause he was a drunkard. But yeah, You have aliens all around, your in Area 51 looking at aliens that have been there since 1947, but the one guy who claims to have seen them they shunned.
Though the reason why is, they weren't going to clear him to fly, and he was going to strap a missle to his crop duster and blow up the ship.
This thread is two pages, and I d/r so I'm sure that was mentioned.
I don't get why they risked pilots lives. We could have just bombed the ships after the virus, there was little need to scramble fighters.

Her birth certificate would have been transferred to the internet around the late 90's so it wouldn't be hard for Skynet to get that information in the future. Find out where she was born and kill her as a baby, much easier than going at John when he's a teenager.

I disagree, mathematics is a universal language.
On Earth or Kashyyk 1+1=2
So a circuit operates a switch on and off 1 or 0. It was a binary code, you can see it clearly when he first finds it.
Now making a laughing skull appear on their monitors, now that couldn't happen.
I like when South Park made fun of Goldblums character in this movie. In "Cancelled"

Terminator 2 would've been 2 minutes long then.
What's really trippy to think about, is... If the Terminator was never sent back in time in the first place, John Conner never would have been born.

yeah, john conner is a time anomaly. we should also see him send back kyle reese, knowing its his dad and he will bone his mom

My biggest question has always been the aliens fighter craft. If they are so advanced, why do we have guided missile systems on our jets and their aircraft just shot straight shots that were easy to evade.

This. Sure, the languages would be incomprehensible but on the binary level, they would be the same. On or off.
