Is The Witcher series worth the time?

SO keeps suggesting but I dont trust her judgement.

Very much worth the time, just know Ciri is in the present and everything is catching up to her.

This coming from somebody who has not read any of the books. It’s definitely worth the watch. It will be confusing to you and probably take a little bit to get used to but it will definitely be worth it in my opinion as a whole. Also the second season is supposed to be much more linear than this one.

From your list Chernobyl is the only one I’ve watched from start to finish. It’s a tier 1 series.

Witcher is a good, relatively quick watch.
Chernobyl is just as "short" but is an emotional investment.
MITHC is a good investment of time. Last season is good, but it stumbles in the end.
The Americans is the best television series in the history of the medium.

Without knowing the source material, I thought the first few episodes of The Witcher were meh. It picks up considerably in the 2nd half of the season and becomes really good. Looking forward to season 2.

Watch The Witcher with subtitles on. I generally hate doing that but you pick up on so much more if you’ve never played the games or read the books.

Well Chernobyl might be the best mini series I have ever watched. The Americans is also an all time great and 10 years from now will be considered a classic. The Americans finale is the best I've ever watched start to finish. I liked The Witcher but it's not in the same class as the other two.
