I rather liked 2005 and 2007 pretty well, the casting as well.

The one from 2005 was a financial success. I didnt think it was a bad movie. It wasnt as good as the top comic book movies but still good.

The premise was ridiculous on its face. Doctor Strange would never agree to something so ridiculous, so potentially reckless and he sure as hell would not go through with the spell with Peter dropping in all these addendums.
He would’ve sat him down and carefully asked him what he wanted, thought it out & then performed this spell in isolation. There was no rush to go through with this, no need for Peter to stand there, while Doctor Strange was performing a spell.
But the movie needed to happen, and what followed was pretty fun.
