No,but I'd say a pretty strong B.

Fat Jonah Hill is way better than Skinny Jonah Hill.

Hs name alone would get people to go out to see a movie they otherwise might not have even considered, especially a comedy movie. Not like Brad Pitt or Tom Hanks, but I think Hill has some pull just based off of name recognition.
You have to be top billed for that though.
When I hear "Jonah Hill" as the first and most important name, and when his head is the biggest one on a movie poster consistently, he's A-List.
Until then, nope.

I think that idea of a-list might be kind of antiquated. Wasn't it more so in the 80's and the 90's where a movie depends on that headlining actor for marketing. Seems like today it is more geared towards directors. Or maybe I have changed. What newer generation actor is that guy? Chris Pratt is the only one I'm thinking of right now.

Christian Bale
Tom Cruise
RDJ
Tom Hanks is probably still A-List
There are others.

Newer generation. Christian Bale is the only one who kind of qualifies, and even he is getting older. The rest are over 50.

Didn't catch that.
Well I'd say Mcounaghy, but he's more of a late bloomer. And not A-List anymore really. He was close.
The Rock is probably #1 right now. Leo #2.
Pratt and Tatum for sure. Lawrence.

If he is it is another manifestation of continually eroding standards.

If he is, it is another manifestation of "A List" being redefined by the same generation who mangled "celebrity" and slapped that sticker on vapid, talentless whores like the Kardashians who are merely famous for being famous.
