Or just click on the link below from the 2009 article you plagiarized.
If I was going to plagiarize, I would have done a better job. Believe it or not, I wasn't searching "Jim Halpert is a dick" at 2am.

No
Practical jokes doesn't make you an a-hole. Jim actually ends up making Dwight normal enough to be the manager at the end (And Jim actually recommends him to David Wallace at the end). Dwight also ends up as friends with Jim and Pam so apparently Dwight doesn't think he's an a-hole.
Well basically your whole timeline is off. He tells her his feelings. She rejects him. So he moves away because it's awkward. Then he gets together with Karen. Jim and Karen come back to Scranton after the branch closes. So there's no way Jim left Pam high and dry.
As for going after an engaged girl, Jim is single. Nobody can control their feelings. He tells Pam his feelings once and plans to leave it at that. The decision to leave Roy was on Pam. If anyone is the a-hole in that situation it's Pam. (Or Roy for just constantly being a dick to Pam).
This was kind of an a-hole move but pretty understandable. He feels pretty bad about it in following episodes.

He constantly picks on Dwight even though Dwight is a good enough guy who maybe takes his job a little too seriously and is a bit of a brown noser. He's a hard worker while Jim has nothing better to do than constantly prank him for no other reason than his own entertainment.

He then starts a relationship with Karen while he still has feelings for Pam and basically leads her on.

I get it. You were probably too busy writing jokes for Carlos Menstealia.
