Does anyone know why Chris Tucker basically disappeared after the Rush Hour franchise? I understand he is kind of a one trick pony, but there are a lot of people in comedy like that who continue to get plenty of work.
After he did Money Talks with Sheen, and the first Rush Hour movie did so well, I believe I've read somewhere he was able to negotiate something like $50 million for the second and third movies and get points on the box office gross figures. I remember reading an interview about him years ago where he said once and made close to $100 million dollars, he was content.
And as much as they all used to come on tv (haven't had cable in years, so idk if they still do) those fat residual checks are probably nice.
