I've seen some of the AI creations from scratch but I'm wondering if it will be used to improve existing series?

Would be nice if AI could automatically upscale old stuff without having people take the time to do it. Would help with lost media as well

I think, if we don’t all die of extinction first, there will be something that will be able to create whatever the frick we want for the individual. We’ll be able to go in and say I wanna see this and have it look like this, like this person directed it, etc. starring this person. At some point, it will be that good. But it’s a long way away from that.

AI enhanced episodes of The Wire in 4K are already out there, if you know where to look.

In the future we won’t need horses. We will have automated machines called automobiles.

seems like at the very least it will be worthwhile for restoring old movies to look like the original prints

also would love to hear early musical recordings restored to something approximately like what they sounded like if you would have been in the studio at the time they were made
