T1 and T2 were great......however, best summer blockbuster ever is Jaws.

A few months back I made an impulse buying for a Blu-ray box set of the six Terminator movies since it was only $15. I saw part 3 when it first came out and remembered not really liking it much, but maybe I need to give it a retry. I have to watch the first two again as that's two of my favorite movies of all time. I've never seen Parts 4-6 so eventually I'll open this box set and watch them

Nope. I really enjoyed Salvation.

T1 is a horror movie and T2 was just pure action and I loved that they each have their own tone. I love them both for that.

Very similar in that way to Alien and Aliens.
Alien is a pure horror film and Aliens is an action flick, but both are great films.

I really like Salvation. It gets a lot of hate but I like the action scenes

I remember watching this film in theaters.
Thinking, the entire "resistence" was just a couple of folks, lurking around the radio.

I didnt see the film in the terminator universe. Could have been a stand alone film for all I know.

The grit from T1’s production really works here, adds to the realism.

No fate is a film that is a hell of a lot better than it had any right to be.

It had a lot of potential and I remember reading that it was supposed to be the first part of a trilogy. But that never manifested.

I remember reading that, too. Though I will admit whatever faith I had in the film was tampered when I found out some dude calling himself "McG" was going to direct it.

I bought the set recently as well. I've made it through the first four, as forgettable and absurd that #3 is, #4 was a little fuzzy from memory but it felt like it didn't really connect and should've been included, instead, if there was ever a true reboot of the franchise. I've yet to watch Genisys or Dark Fate but I set the bar pretty low of what to expect.
