Just finished the last book yesterday. No way will the movies live up. Expectations are too high. Either way, it will make a boat load of money.

It ended like I expected, it just didn't get there the way I thought. I must say, I did enjoy it. I read the last two books in less than a week because I was so into it. Good stuff.

is this a chick thing? I have heard a lot of girls talking about how great the book was but I just saw the previews and I think I want to read them. chick book or not?

I was looking forward to reading these until I discovered they were intended for young adults. Chicks love books that are intended for young adults. Specifically, the books are written at a 11-13 year old reading level.

Yea, I've only read the first book and it is obviously intended for a younger audience. I took it from a hostel when I was backpacking Europe and read the thing in pretty much one train ride.

It isn't a bad book and is a fairly interesting read. You fly through it pretty quickly.
