Appreciate the recommendation. I've been on one hell of a binge, started season 4 yesterday. They do a great job giving the fans what we want.

No spoilers, but are you guys happy with how it finished? I'm almost wanting to slow my roll and stretch this last season as long as I can

I just got to season 4 this weekend as well. I cannot remember season 5, but it seems people here were not a fan of it.

It seems to be the trend for most shows, last season sucks. Well except for Breaking Bad

Edit - So glad I did a re-watch. I wish they would make more shows like this.

It doesn't suck, it's just different. Season 4 and 5 are a noticeable drop off in quality from the first 3 seasons, but that doesn't mean that they are without quality. There are some seriously great episodes in there.

Holy shite ya'll just made my day. For some reason I could've sworn I only saw 4 seasons and thought I was on the last one. I'm loving this show so much that even a drop off should be high quality.

Awesome, Casey & Morgan are all awesome.

The fight club episode had me

I always thought that the show was handicapped by constantly being unsure whether they would be back next season or not. Chuck may have the all time record of series finales, or at least episodes that were intended to be one.

Don't get me wrong. Its a great TV show and I've rewatched it twice so far. I just wish they had not had to put together seasons not knowing what was going to happen as far as the next season.

I've seen it all the way through 2 times. Once when it aired, and second about 4 years ago. I just started rewatching last week. I'm on season 1 episode 4. Can't believe how much I have forgotten. All of the jokes are like I'm hearing it for the first time.

That's a better way of phrasing my question. Were they aware season 5 would be their last or did it get cancelled?

They got canceled at the end of every season only to be renewed after fans complained. No one ever was sure what was happening.

I recall one season they thought they were getting a half season order and then they were out the door, but the network decided to give them a full season. So they actually had two episodes that season that were possible series finales.

They did, at least, know that the Season 5 was the last season. Which was probably a relief by that time. By all accounts the cast and crew loved working on the show but constantly not knowing what is going to happen had to be extremely stressful.

Has to be season 3 right? I finished s3 this weekend and E12,13 or 14 (don't remember exactly) definitely felt like it was a finale.. then it just kept going

I'm going to preface this by saying that I love the first 4 seasons of check, and I don't know how many times I've watched them. But with that said, I've only watched the last season twice. I won't get into why I don't like the final season because I don't want to spoil it for your.

I think it was season 4. Chuck vs The Push Mix was around halfway through the 4th season, and it should've been the series finale.

To be honest... it could be both seasons. But Chuck vs the Push Mix might have been my favorite this is the series finale... oh wait, no it isn't. A really great episode all around.

Yeah, that one really felt like a season finale.

I’ve watched through that episode on most of my rewatches. I won’t spoil anything, but I’m not a fan of S5, so I usually don’t watch it.

You must work for the Geek Squad. John Casey is the only man on that show worthy of a man crush.

ETA: Just finished season 3. If I hadn’t heard about this show on here, I would’ve never watched it. Glad I did
