They are. The Green Goblin storyline in TAS 2 was so fricking laughable. A Goblin disease? WTF were they thinking?

I thought the original Toby M. Spiderman series was good; never thought it was time for a reboot and haven't seen The Amazing Spidey 1 or 2 as any kind of improvement.

Dr octopus and sandman(had great potential) were the best villains in the series thus far. Lowell fit the role was just a poorly put together film.
