agreed. seinfeld's comedy came from the reacting to the wackiness of his cast mates. jerry's only real wackiness was his OT standards on women.

i didn't mean for my earlier post to take anything away from seinfeld and i've seen him live and he's great.

if anything i think through CYE we see the genius of larry david and just how much of that was shown in his seinfeld days. and the cast including jerry played it perfectly.

I think many of you fail to realize, that seinfeld and larry david were the writers. So every funny thing the characters did, was a concept from the minds of seinfeld and david. SO saying he wasn't funny, but the other characters were, in turn, you are saying he is funny.

FWIW, his standup was hilarious.
