Thanks to its mountain of debt, Discovery whacked alot of money from HBO and told it to cut two elisodes. Production started during writers strike. They couldnt fix the scripts so the season was shot kn a rough draft
Which is wild .
They green light so many shittey shows that nobody notices bc there’s so many shows in every single streamer .. and then undercut their biggest cash cow in Dragons that yes costs more but also makes more and drives eyeballs to your channel
Why penalize your biggest show at the expense of the quality of the show ???
I don’t get it . You piss off the fans to save a few million. Ok.

Corporate stupidity knows no bounds.
AT&T wanted to make GOT shorts for smartphones and shoot the show differently show it would appear better on a smartphone. Yeah.
The budget problems and writers strike still don't explain the bad decisions by the showrunners .
A female showrunner and female writer turned a powerful Aemond into an emo trying to prove he is tough. Because they can't stand to see women as villains, they water down the characters, making them completely boring. They still would have had those secret meetings between the two queens, meetings that were implausible and stupid, only written to show the women want peace and it's all the men's fault.
