Oh if you are into gore check out a film called Dead Alive. Movie is damn hilarious. It got kind of a cult following because it was directed by Peter Jackson before he got famous

If you like Dead Alive, you need check out The Cemetery Man. It's a black comedy/horror/gore movie too. I might even like this one better.

Watched Se7en with my wife last night. She had not seen it before. It's been a while since I watched it and picked up on a few things I had never caught before. Love that movie.

I have at least seen or heard of all of these. But August Underground and its sequel (Mordum) were... just read the synopsis on wikipedia. Didn't think I could get riled by a synopsis but there it was.

ETA: Granted, Megan is Missing still probably creeps me out the worst.

The Exorcist - unedited and do yourself a favor: listen to Mike Olfield's Tubular Bells. The Exocist uses the first movement, which is cool but this section is also very cool (only about 8 minutes):
Tubular Bells Title Theme

Here's the whole thing (it's nearly an hour long):
Tubular Bells Remastered 2003

Saw Insidious for the first time and it genuinely scared me.

One of the small number of horror films that I watched twice.

Did anyone see As Above, So Below?

The preview I saw of it looked pretty good.

I did. It was fun, but not great. Kinda reminded that I need to watch event horizon again.

I'm a touch claustrophobic so it and the descent got my heart racing just for all the tight spaces
