Searched and didn't see a thread but I just binged the whole series, would highly recommend. Loved the part on Madden and Doom, and hell all of it.

Just finished the RPG episode.

Thought for sure that WoW would've made the cut.

I was hoping for some playstation and xbox love too. Maybe they'll make another season which will go into more of the classics.

Would've also loved to see more about N64 and Goldeneye.

Just finished episode 2, Nostalgia overload.

Nintendo Power Hotline, holy shite I remember when that came out. I can't even imagine what kind of beating I would have taken if I had ever called that shite.

Don’t let you’re young kids watch the Nintendo episode since they say parents are Santa

It was good
No Tecmo Bowl though
That should have gotten more air time as they made it sound like Madden was the only football game
EA Sports did change the game though

Doom as well with multiplayer, surprised they didn't address controversy of doom and school shooters in Colorado.

PAC Man and MS Pac Man along with Space Invaders and Donkey Kong were all good back stories on those games.

Poor ET game for Atari, those games were terrible including PAc Man for Atari.
I had the old Atari 400 it might still be in my parent's closet, it definitely upgraded pac man.

I think the fact that Final Fantasy came out when it did and lasted as long as it has is what made it win out....I mean shite WoW wasnt' released until the mid-2000s.

What really surprised me is that MUDs and the internet didn't get a little more time. I know they spent time on Colossal Cave Adventure.....but codesbases like AberMUD, TinyMUD, etc from the late 80s is what got it going for real and really (along with D&D) what got us going down the line that would eventually bring along things like Everquest, Ultima Online, and ultimately WoW.

Honestly the novelty of console gaming when it came out got Atari going....in hindsight the only really good/fun game I can remember on Atari is Pitfall and Missle Command.

Missle Command had some staying power too......I remember some years back it had a mobile version in the Google and Apple app stores that got a good bit of DLs.
