Help with the name of a series

I remember watching the first few episodes of a drama series about a young pilot or bombardier flying in the European theatre during WW2. He was constantly trying to get out of the next mission by claiming different ailments and injuries. It was kind of lighthearted with some funny parts but also kind of dark. I cannot remember the name of this series or where it is streamed. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

You had to be crazy to fly those bombing missions over Europe, with all the casualties. And you could be medically excused if you were crazy. But if you asked to be medically excused, then you were obviously not crazy. That’s some catch, that Catch-22.
