A couple of years ago my wife wanted to watch father of the bride which turned into hours of Steve Martin movies
This year we put on uncle buck for the first time and now I’m on a John Candy binge. Planes trains and automobiles yesterday that I somehow missed during the previous Steve Martin watch.

I did a small John Candy one a couple months ago after watching the I Like Me doc.
Also did a Hitchcock one years ago where I bought up like 15-20 of his movies. I think I've watched about 10 or so since then. Some are just okay. Some are excellent. But I've enjoyed them all.
