I haven't seen much discussion about this show lately.
If you haven't checked it out yet, you really, REALLY should.

The show pushes the envelope for network television in lots of ways.
It's gripping, disturbingly violent, bleak, patiently paced, and seriously well-acted.

I can't recommend this show enough.
It's a total pleasant surprise from the likes of NBC.

Yep. Which is why they will be cancelling it.

That is likely.

My hope is that it will be picked up by another network that will appreciate it more.
I've heard they're interested.

Yeah there was a thread on it some time ago. I want to say AMC maybe was interested? I can't recall. Or Amazon? Dunno. Love the show, though. Great cast. It could stand to be a little less grotesque, but it is quite good all the same.

I really like the show. This would have been a great show on FX, HBO, etc with an endpoint in site and a nice little 3 season run.

I just started watching, and have only seen the last two episodes. I would've liked to have started at the beginning, but I'm going to give it a couple more episodes to hook me.

I love this show, so I hope they don't cancel it. Probably will though. If they do, let's hope a better network picks it up.

Well said. Couldn't agree more. There was a thread Couple weeks ago and I think possible destinations, if NBC makes another mistake and cancels it, were a&e and amazon. As long as the same show runners and creators are involved i don't care where it ends up. Unless it ends up on directv like damages. That would piss me off.

yeah, supposedly amazon and an unnamed cable network...ratings for episode 8 went up 82% from the previous week, but last week, it dropped back significantly...as others have said, i'm sure nbc will drop it, and i only hope it does get picked up elsewhere where it can flourish...i really love the show.

That's unfortunate.

The story builds on itself a lot.
It's not as much of a procedural as I expected.

great show; the acting/music/cinematography are all amazing. my only gripe is that it's episodic as opposed to serial. I generally avoid episodic shows...

Only at the point where you are unaware of Hannibal's murderous side. But we are all aware of what happens at the end of Hannibal's story. We know the rough timeline, etc. I don't necessarily feel Will has to be the one that catches him either, maybe have Will die and bring on another FAU agent.

At some point, he will get caught, and the story will be over.

Being that the credits say that the show is based on Red Dragon, and in that book he was the one to catch him, I would think Will would figure him out and catch him on the show.

It's on NBC; I wouldn't get attached. Hopefully someone else picks it up.
