My wife and I stopped watching this show after about the third season. I flipped itover to see what was going on and IMO, it had a poor ending. No real cliffhanger. The Derek guy should have coded and it should have cut off there until next year.

I haven't watched it in a long time but I am watching the finale online. Can someone explain to me who the shooter is and why he is after Derek?

Just watched it. Why in the he'll didn't the swat guy finish him off once Lexie ran off. That was ridiculous. Also, when he in the OR when they were operating on Shepard, he kept turning he back in the table. Someone could have put a 10 blade in his neck

we have one TV and my wife was watching the finale last night while I was on the computer/ vaguely listening to the show. When he got shot I was like well how are they going to drag this out for another hour or so... Little did I know that in Seattle if a SWAT team shoots a perp they just decide to let him go on his murderous rampage if he can live through it.

The part where Bailey was pulled from under the bed stressed me out. The whole episode stressed me out. Who cares if it wasn't realistic, any Grey's fan knows realistic situations flew out the window in the first episode

in all honesty, the finale was somewhat uneventful
no one really important died
i thought theyd at least have a cliffhanger for one of the major characters

Usually bathrooms in hospital rooms do not lock actually.
And the only reason he went into the bathroom was because he heard a noise in there(the guy dropped something).

Yeah no kidding right! LoL SWAT got one lousy shot on a still target. Then the killer runs free like it's nothing, merely a flesh wound.
I agree about the no real cliffhangers too, even though there was plenty of opportunity for it.
Not being attached to the characters probably hurts my perception of the show a bit but I thought the finale was okay.
