7 years later and we still don't know what happened with him meeting LS.

Book Jaimie is the best character in the book and that includes Tyrion

Yeah. I don’t think there’s anything I’ve hated more on the show (save for Barristan dying to a bunch of teenagers saving Grey Worm) than Jaime fricking Cersei after she blew up the Sept. Going into the season, I thought Jaime couldn’t be left alone in a room with her without killing her. He killed Aerys for attempting that, but he fricks Cersei all the same. I really hate that.

The character development of Jaime
The Stannis Baratheon battle with Ramsey debacle
Making Loras Tyrell the HBO token fig

Only problems I have with the show. Doing a re watch so it's all pretty fresh.

Hell I like Jaime way better in the show than Tyrion the past few seasons. Tyrion’s character arc has been meh since S5. And I hate saying that because I think Peter Dinklage is a great actor.

I agree. Tyrion has been pretty worthless since he killed Tywin. I know this is me drawing from the books, but he’s been the same there up to the point we last left off.

Jaime is just the best character and had the best trajectory. He’s great, but he’s the character the writers seem to deliberately set back at any given turn, like say him raping Cersei on Joffrey’s corpse (although that may have been the director’s and not writer’s fault).

my favorite part in the book series might be Jaimie getting the letter from Cersie when she's in locked in the sept and he just burns it

Dead child? Make another one! Jamie's the man.

Also, in the books when Tyrion goes to Bravos or Meereen or whereever, while he's a slave he ends up in a circus jousting with a female little person, her riding a dog and him riding a pig. There's even a love story if I remember correctly. He stays broody but they keep his character "impish". In the show I think the things in his life have taken a greater toll on him and the Queen of Dragons is very serious business to him.

I really hate this theory. Sure it’s “A Song of Ice and Fire”, but it’s just cheesy to me. I highly doubt that is what Martin is going for in his never to be released books, but it just seems to Disney to me.
Really? Even though it was his original treatment?

Yeah, you're gonna totally fig out when this ends. It's one of the reasons I'm rooting for a storybook ending, but no ending could possibly satisfy all of your tedious complexities, so fig out you will in any event.

But I will at least agree that the dragon baby ruling the world is kinda gross. Might as well marry her off to Daario while they're at it.

The show ends with a bunch of kids in a basement and it's revealed that they're all playing Dungeons and Dragons.
