Figured since the Hodors made their thread already that we should have ours .

I've been rewatching seasons 2 & 3 the past few days. I rewatched S1&4 a few weeks ago.

I'm excited but my expectations for this first episode are minimal as it will likely be setup characters and premature storylines. I already miss Tywin too.

I can deal with a lot of changes, as I've come to terms that it won't e the same as reading. And I am ok with that. But the North storyline is making me nervous, and has potential to go off the rails. I know Dan and Dave know what they're doing, it's just me being a purist.

I hope they end this season with his murder but I also want to see him as lord commander for a while too.

I heard we are getting zero on the Bran Stark front this season... Is this true? Because that kinda blows.
ETA: that means no HODOR!

yep they've said no Bran/Hodor. I do wonder what they'll do with Bran in S6 cause he'll be so much older and Hodor can't be carrying him around.
I'm most interested in Jaime being in Dorne and how that will go. I can't wait till Jon chops off Slynt's head!

That he switched baby Rhaenys with another baby.

Yep no Bran in the tree this season, other characters story lines need to catch up to his.

If he gets stabbed this season I'd be shocked the book doesn't come out before S6.
They're already speeding Tyrion/Dany up. Is he really just gonna keep letting them pass him, and then tell a completely different story?
It's weird because you then start saying the book is different from the show instead of saying the show is changing things from the book.
Does that make sense?
