They haven't come out and said who the guy is but you can find it out with context clues. As for the reason why Theon is being tortured is because the guy is a psycho and he truly enjoys seeing people suffer. He said that at the end of the torture session in last weeks episode.

I wish Dany would just take the ships and gold and get outta there. There is no sense in risking the lives of her army to save more people.

I've always thought Jamie was a fricking sorry scumbag after what he did to the Stark kid, but he's grown on me a little bit in the last few episodes. I'm sure there's some ulterior motive for why he's been helping Brianne out though.

This season is really good..

its because the 3rd and 4 book are pretty much one book. they are written in a simultaneous time line or something like that. My roommate told me about it i dont remember exactly what it was
and if the seasons follow the books ( which i have no idea if they still are) then I would assume just huge cliffhangers
