Telling me my free Disney+ subscription ends 11/12/20 which is conveniently in the middle of new Mandalorian season.

This started in December no? Seems a little sketchy.

I mean, are you really shocked by them trying to maximize subscription numbers as much as possible?

Same. Just cancelled mine. I had also signed up for the cheap 3 years offer they had right when it started so that should be kicking in after.

Are you expecting it to be free forever? Of course it’s gonna go into effect in the middle of the season. They’d be really bad at this if they did it any other way.

I'm glad I didn't take the unlimited offer from Verizon until this Summer. Late to the party on Mando, but I'll be good for season 2.

Don't just buy the hype because they threw it out there. In order to get the Disney+, they told me I would need to switch my family plan (3 lines). Basically, I would need to increase my bill by $50/month to save $13

Nah, only one line needs to move up to the qualifying unlimited option. That's what I did and it was $10 more. You can move/keep your existing lines on the lower unlimited options, which are cheaper than the previous plans. It's only $3 less than the normal Disney/hulu/espn bundle, but it's also alot more convenient not having to keep track of yet another streaming service.
