Glengarry Glen Ross observation

So Lavine stole the leads, in cahoots with Moss. Williamson bluffs him into confessing, but all he has to say to the cops is Williamson is lying. The only evidence they have is circumstantial, his lack of an alibi. Moss isn't going to say anything nor is Jerry Graff. I suppose they could lift his fingerprints, but he's probably in that office several times a day so you'd expect his fingerprints to be there. All he has to do is deny, deny, deny. They have no solid case. He'll lose his job but he was going to lose his job anyway. Yet he sits there at the end totally defeated.
Granted he's upset about losing the Nybog contract and not being able to help his daughter. But the implication is he's going to jail and that won't happen as long as he keeps his mouth shut. For that matter he could easily flip and testify about all the fraudulent shite Mitch and Murray are up to, so he has leverage himself.

Isn’t the movie(play) kinda saying that the man is the job/the job is the man? In general, but more specifically that those old school sales guys are kinda slimy losers whose jobs were going away anyway?
Weather today, tomorrow, next week, whatever—He was dead before the 1st frame, we just see it sped up and up close over an hour and half. It’s Death of A Salesman 2: Electric Lemon Boogaloo.

WHAT YOU'RE HIRED FOR, is to help us... does that seem clear to you? TO HELP US, not to... frick US UP.
My last boss did paperwork for us so we could be doing the job. He was the guy Ricky Roma wanted as the office manager. Best boss I've ever had. His teams always made goals. The manager who micro managed her people couldn't figure out how we did it. She should have been an accountant. She could have been a character in Vice Principals. One that ate lunch by herself while working. Not because she had to. She just thought it would make her look good.

I need to sit down one rainy day and watch Glengarry Glenross and Tin Men back to back. Two great sales movies.
