For some true heavyweight acting in a true heavyweight scene, the nuclear war dinner scene from Crimson Tide always stood out.

Hackman still at he top of his game and Denzel in his prime...

Just imagine a scene this intelligent, well written a D well directed and well done in a big budget action type film now.... LINK

In all seriousness, why can't big films have moments of levity and awe like this anymore
