The no-nudity thing goes back like three years. A bunch of nerds were butt furious about it.

Wouldn't they have to cross the Twins. I wonder how the Freys play out in that situation.

No, they wouldn't need to cross the Twins but they would most likely have to go through Moat Cailan at the Neck which is under Bolton control. At this time, I believe the Bolton's would consider LF an ally and LF could get his Vale army through the Neck if the Bolton's believe he is coming to help destroy Jon's wildling army. The show will most likely just skip over any of this traveling/geography inconvenience though because they probably don't want the viewer to know the location or size of the Vale army so there is shock value when/if they arrive.

Well, if anyone can pull it off it would be LF. If Roose was still alive he might have figured things out. Ramsey might surprise me though.

That was before. This is now and now we know Arya's wolf has been out in the wild doing who knows what. For all we know she linked up with another dire wolf or a team of normal wolves and they have produced a huge pack of wolves. Wolves that reside in the northern woods. Ramsey never saw Shaggy Dog. He has no clue what he looks like.

My memory of both the show and the books is a bit foggy concerning Robb's final resting disposition, I know that the Freys placed Grey Wind's severed head on his body. Is it possible the Karstarks had access to Grey Wind's head and used it to fool Ramsey into thinking it was Shaggydog's?

Like I said, I can't remember details of Robb's funeral/burial or what happened to his body. I just recall Grey Wind's head on his body. Just a question that's all.

Even if they did (which they didn't), Grey Wind was a different color than Shaggydog. Shaggydog was a lot darker in color than all of the other direwolves.

True, but would Ramsey have known? Was he in the Riverlands during Robb's campaign? I know Roose was but I don't think Ramsey was. And it wouldn't be the first time Ramsey was fooled by switching bodies.

I'm not a biologist but I would think a dead wolf's head would rot?

It would, unless it was stored at very cold temperatures, which would be anywhere in the North...

I'm just wondering if the idea is plausible, it's not any more crazy than a time-traveling Tyrion

I think Grey Wind's head would be too decomposed by now.

Ramsay might not have know, but we would. And since the direwolf head that Smalljon dropped on the table was dark/black, we can safely say that it wasn't Greywind.

Honestly I had forgotten all about what each direwolf looked like. It would have been a nice deception if possible.

In fairness he's the only one who has ever taken out a white walker-- and he did it 1 v 1.

I will also note that Castle Black is poorly defended from the South. Ramsay should have no need to bait out Jon. Just go fricking kill him if you think it is important.

Um, I have doubts as the efficacy of this given the Wildings (which admittedly Ramsey doesn't totally know about). In show, I think he doesn't want to outright declare war on all of Westeros just yet if he can avoid it-- and that's what sacking Castle Black would do.
