because i was nominated to be a canonsguard of the histories and lore and can be accused of being gay for them

but on a serious note. the histories and lore are very important...hence why they were included on the DVDs

they don't cover every little issue that the books cover, but they cover a LOT of the backstory...esp the H/L included with seasons 1-2

Haven't seen them on HBOgo. Are those those hour-long for each season vids on youtube? Sounds interesting. I'll have to work those in in the next couple weeks.

yeah they're on youtube. a search of "histories and lore hbo" will probably find them

and on the DVDs they're broken down into very small segments for very specific things...like the lannister view of one part of robert's war....and then the targarian view of robert's rebeillion, then the stark version, etc.
