It's really funny due to the fact that he is without question the filthiest fighter in all of Westeros. Seriously, Bronn and the Mountain have honorable fighting techniques compared to him.

dude, honorable guys always use poison laced blades.

I think Oberyn will lose. Someone pointed out earlier in this thread that Oberyn seems to be an honorable man, like Ned Stark, and we all know how they are rewarded in that world. It would be a shocler if Tyrio was killed off but it wouldn't surprise me. I think the Mountain wins and old man Lannister saves Tyrion with some sort of little know law. remember that old man Lannister didn't actually want tyrion dead in the first place as he always wanted the deal Jamie proposed. I think, even though he is ruthless, he doesn't want to see his son killed he just wants him out of sight.
dude might be a reader just covering his tracks

I am not clever enough to make something up that wrong
Posted on 5/20/14 at 3:31 pm to Dire Wolf
you have to put in just the right amount of wrong to make it somewhat believable

Have they made a point of that in the series? I was talking with some hodors at lunch and they didn't know anything about Red Viper or poison or anything...

because Hodors watch the show they don't pay attention.

Yeah, I watched the last episode with some Hodor friends of mine, and they didn't have a clue who the Mountain was and that Oberyn's sister had her kids killed by him in front of her, and then raped and killed her, despite the fact he's said it like 6 times this season.
Posted on 5/20/14 at 4:01 pm to Byron Bojangles III
so have they made a point to emphasize his use of poison? I can't remember if I only remember that from the books or also from the shows, but I don't remember them saying anything about it this season

A supposed Hodor, Jefforize, said this:
[quote]I was thinkin oberyn might poison tip his weapon...but...mountains armor will be a problem[/quote
I think they did mention it once. Judging from his posts, this guy is a reader or has watched each episode numerous times and makes very good predictions.

Thanks; will check it out
. When you say that he's like SFP, is he forever friend zoned?
Posted on 5/20/14 at 4:28 pm to ladytiger118
No, he hated True Detective. I called SFP slowflowgreenwald when TD was on.
Posted on 5/20/14 at 4:30 pm to Cosmo
Oh yeah, he was so critical when TD was on
.
I loled when he said that LF sounds like Bane and how gross the line that "you would've been my daughter in another life" line was before he kissed her

It is a good point that a courtyard in the middle of a castle with windows all around probably wasnt the best place to do that
