Guess you mean a House Reed. It's not a gator it's a lizard lion. Pretty sure it means the same thing

sort of a bizarre motto since they have neither permanent hearth nor harvest.

Their hearth is on a floating island...and the harvest is what the swamp provides..just like the Cajuns have done for centuries...I thought this was a Louisana website???

Heh. Just saw the Father's Day commercial. Drives home the fact that most of the fathers in this show are horrible human beings. Theon's dad, Tywin, Roose, Walder Frey, and are still alive.
Where all the good to decent dads have been killed. Ned, Lord Commander Mormont, Khal Drogo...even King Robert wasn't a terrible father to children that weren't even his. And he probably would've been a great dad for Gendry.
Maybe tonight we strike a name off the crappy living dad list. I saw someone walking with a crossbow in the previews and Tyrion or Jaime offhandedly mentions how people can die on a chamberpot two episodes ago...
Hope that means what I think it means regarding Tywin.

You are in the book readers thread, dude.

I was talking with the group I watch with (all Hodors), and the main thing I'm worried about is the "Previously On" section. They seemed to note in previous episodes which moments were going to come back and I don't want them to know that Tywin, Stannis, and LSH are coming. I want to see the surprise
Posted on 6/15/14 at 6:36 pm to ILeaveAtHalftime
Yeah, the show really spoon feeds the Hodors.

someone already linked the previously on for this episode I believe, and I don't think they came close to wrecking anything.

I can't talk about what I know in the Middle Ground or Hodor thread so...

Actually, it completely ruins that Stannis is coming. It shows the scene where Mel says that the War of the Five Kings means nothing compared to the War at the Wall. They couldn't have been any less subtle if they tried. I could literally march into the Hodor thread and talk all about Stannis' plans and make it more subtle than that. At least they didn't bring up Tyrion's story to Tysha. LINK

I'm hoping that I only think it's so obvious because I know it is coming. Although, worst case scenario, it only ruins Stannis, and maybe the Vahlar Marghulis line. They managed to not drop the "Tywin shitting gold" line 100 times, so it should be a blest Father's day for all in that regard.
Please, to the old gods and the new, let LSH be the last scene/cliffhanger.

I'll be pissed if it isn't.

I may spoil it for everyone I'm around because I won't be able to contain my anger and disappointment
