great first episode. Coach taylor has been great ever since he was in Early Edition. Do they have the ugliest baby in television because I think they do.

So i didnt like the first episode...but this season has turned into gold.
Last nights episode with Billy Riggins pregame speech and Vinces Dad smoking that dude was classic.
I am gonna miss this show when it is done.

I finally gave in and got the last half of the season via netflix. Definitely doesn't disappoint.

I've only seen the season premire so far, I have the rest saved on my DVR. I thought it was good. The only storyline I really couldn't care less about is that girl taking care of her little brothers (and that girl who moved in with Billy Riggins and his wife to an extent, but she's kinda cute).

Landry.
FNL is one of my favorite shows, but I've never liked Landry.
Don't worry. He's done after the first couple of episodes.

I guess I'm in the minority regarding Landry. I've always found him funny in a really dry, goofy, teenage way. Plus, he was the only person on the show the first few seasons who didn't look like a model.
Aside from that, I had a run in with him at a Whole Foods on Valentine's Day 2008 in Austin. Admittedly, I was late to order flowers for my wife and asked the florist if I could buy the ones on display behind her. I wasn't aware Landry (Jesse Plemons) was directly to the side of me until he said, "You can't have those. I pre ordered them, so you'll have to pick up others." He continued, "Hey, don't blame me because I called ahead and planned this out. Now, you're girlfriend is gonna have to have crappy dead flowers because you didn't think ahead. Now she's probably gonna break up with you."
I know the words are probably lost in translation, but he said it with a completely serious look on his face and I was cracking up. The more I laughed, the more he piled on. It was obvious to me he was kidding.
I introduced myself and we talked about the show for a few minutes. This is couple years ago and he talked about how much he appreciated everyone who watched the show and prayed that it wasn't cancelled because he didn't want to go back to living in Waco.
Anyways, he was really humble and nice, so I guess I have a different view on him.

I figured you'd come around on it.
It is a really great season.

So the last episode of the Series is coming on NBC this Friday.
This has been a really good season, but it seems like there are alot of things up in the air for it all to be covered and wrapped up in the 1 hour finale.
For those who have watched it without giving spoilers, were you happy with the final episode?

I thought there were two episodes left on NBC. This Friday's episode is called "Texas Whatever" and the last one is "Texas Forever".

My mistake, I think they are combining the last two episodes.

the first episode is very good. The season is even better

The final season is awesome! FNL is easily the best show on TV the last 5 years. No better characters than Coach and Riggins. Who wouldn't want coach as a bud or their coach?
