part of the pelican brief was filmed here.. the other part in DC.

Many good ones mentioned but I also like "A Murder of Crows", which I haven't seen mentioned.

I like this one as well. Another one I've always enjoyed and I'm not sure why is "Heaven's Prisoners" w/ Alec Baldwin

And the scenes that were filmed here were pretty good. Runaway Jury and the Pelican Brief are my two favorite New Orleans films.

I agree. The accents would be over the top even if the movie was set in Ville Platte or Opelousas, much less New Orleans. Sad thing is, Big Easy is a great plot, but the crappy accent thing ruins it.
